Rich Howe, CFA, graduated from Trinity College in 2006 with BS in Economics.
After graduating from Trinity, Rich started his career at Eaton Vance (EV) in 2006 as an equity research associate. At EV, Rich had the opportunity to cover many industries (software, internet, health care, financials) and earn the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. While at Eaton Vance, Rich read Joel Greenblatt’s You Can Be a Stock Market Genius and became instantly hooked on investing in stock spin-offs.
In 2013, Rich left EV to join the private equity research group at Citi Private Bank. At Citi, Rich enjoyed learning the private equity business but remained passionate about investing in stock spin-offs. He actively managed his personal portfolio investing almost exclusively in spin-offs.
In April 2018, Rich left Citi to focus full time on Stock Spin-off Investing. The site's goal is to be the best resource for investors who are interested in stock spin-offs.
